Product Description

Corden EPS Gas Tape – Double sided butyl joint tape
Corden EPS Gas Tape is a preformed high performance polyisobutylene (PIB) based sealing tape with enhanced adhesive characteristics for more demanding applications where there are requirements for a high degree of bonding.

Corden EPS Lap Tape
This is an economy grade polyethylene laminated cloth tape, coated with a pressure sensitive rubber adhesive. Displays good conformability to irregular surfaces, has good adhesion and is easy to tear by hand.

Application

Corden EPS Gas Tape should be applied to surfaces at a temperature range of between +4oC and +40oC.

For best performance, the surfaces should be clean, dry, and grease free. The product should be unwound and lightly pressed into position leaving the release paper in place.

On forming the joint the release paper is removed and the closing surface pushed firmly in place, pressure applied along the length of the joint and mechanically fixed if necessary.
